The Back-Door Agenda of the FCC - If Mark Lloyd has his way

The White House is diabolically trying to destroy those of us who are speaking out against their agenda. It’s not about the Fairness Doctrine. Obama has hired Mark Lloyd to be the Chief Diversity ‘Czar’ at the FCC. This is what Lloyd had to say about free speech and public radio and what he wants to do to shut down private radio and stifle those who disagree with the agenda of the White House:

On the First Amendment:

Prologue to a Farce – Mark Lloyd – Senior Fellow at Center for American Progress

“It should be clear by now that my focus here is not freedom of speech or the press … This freedom is all too often an exaggeration … At the very least, blind references to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies.”

According to the diversity czar, he’s proposing that private radio companies pay 100% of their operating budget yearly. That tax will be sent to the state-run NPR. If they don’t pay it, they lose their license and it will be sold to a minority group. Basically, he’s calling for private radio stations to fund NPR (state-run).

In addition, he also states “In our report, we call for ownership of rules that we think will create greater local diversity of programming, news and commentary. And we call for more localism by putting more teeth into the licensing rules. But we do not call for a return of the fairness doctrine.”

At best (or worst), this is the back door approach to the fairness doctrine. How does this represent our First Amendment? Where is the mainstream media on this?
